Gemapilen FK series are from 60% to 80% Calcium Carbonate (Chalk, CaCO3 filler) filled Polypropylene compounds. As an off-the-shelf product, it is used in both PP raffia and thermoforming applications.

In raffia applications, it can be blended with PP at upto 25% depending on the application.

In thermoforming applications, it can be blended with PP at upto 30% depending on the thickness of the sheet.

It shows that the test result of Charpy Impact which has been done according to the ISO 527 standards shows that when using 20% Gemapilen in PP Homopolymer MH418 (Petkim) which results %14 CaCO3 content in total, increases the Charpy Impact upto 69%.
