Gema Polimer Plastik Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.

>  1984, the first of the current group of companies was founded by Mehmet Aydın with the title of Aydınlar Plastik A.S. and began operations in the plastics industry with injection moulding, serigraph printing, hot stamping and pad printing. The company maintains its activites and organic growth, meeting the requirements of the white goods industry.

>  1990, new investments on injection moulding machinery and serigraph printing.

>  1996, Gema Polimer A.S. was founded and joined the group of companies. The company specializes in the import and export of industrial plastics such as PE, PP, ABS, PS, PA and PC. The Istanbul plant also specializes in the processing and recycling of ABS, PS, PP, PA and PC.

>  2002, the second factory was established in the Izmir Aegean Free Zone. This factory and its onsite research and development laboratory specializes in the production of engineering plastics and thermoplastic compounds.

>  2006, new investments on extrusion machinery and laboratory.

>  2011 Gema has started construction of a new factory to increase production capacity, efficiency and flexibility in responding to customer orders, while reducing manufacturing costs and improving the overall quality of the company's products.

>  2012, in the beginning of 2012 Gema has moved to its new production plant to improve its premium service quality and production capacity. Gema Polimer maintains a highly efficient operation thanks to its specialized technical department and cutting edge machinery manufacturing products in line with international quality standards allowing an average annual capacity of 40,000 tons.

>  2014, new double screw extrusion line investmen.

>  2015, with the start up of new extrusion lines, Gema reached 55.000 tons beginning of 2015.

>  2017, Gema opens its 3rd manufacturing plant in Silivri, Istanbul in the second quarter of 2017. In this new facility, the production capacity will be 20.000 tons.
